Can I put music or video onto a stick at home for use on the boat ?
Yes - you need a pre-prepared stick or solid-state drive (SSD) so that it can be written to on a Windows machine (assuming you're using Windows) and then run from the Skipper's Mate Boat Control Unit. The stick or SSD is divided into 3 categories : Music, Pictures and Video.

Can I record TV programs to watch later ?
Yes - the Open Source Tvheadend software which is installed with Skipper's Mate allows you to record. Skipper's Mate can be configured either with a pre-prepared memory stick/flash drive or a solid-state drive (SDD) as a device for storage and replay.
