Skipper's Mate - Comms. Edition

Skipper's Mate provides a range of mix-and-match options. The Comms Edition gets you going - then you can add in pretty much any mixture of the other editions and modules. Kits are easy to assemble and come with full illustrated instructions - easier than a flat pack ! We provide kits so that you can tailor the installation to your boat and where you wish to site items (such as the Boat Control Unit with its on-board Wi-Fi Hotspot, cameras etc.)

 Product Details

The Skippers's Mate Comms Edition is a low-energy easy-to-assemble kit containing everything you need to connect your boat to the outside world, and to provide on-board comms via the built-in Wi-Fi Hotspot for use by you and your crew. The Comms. Edition comes with the hardware to make both 3G/4G and external Wi-Fi connections. However there is no reason why you cannot add further connections such as ADSL or satellite if these are available. It comprises :
  • Boat Control Unit
  • 3G/4G mobile broadband dongle (unlocked)*
  • External Wireless device (detachable antennna)
  • On-board Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • Cables and connectors
  • Full illustrated instructions for assembly
